How old do you have to be to get a tarot card reading?

  1. I grew up in the New Age community, and tarot card readers and the likes will take money from anybody willing to fork it over. You should have no problem getting a reading.

    I’ll do free readings from people of any age if they want me too.

    Though I only do them in person so yah…You’d have to live near me, or I’d have to know you fairly well through the internet to the point where I know your not someone trying to rape me. And that would be extremely hard to manage if I’m to meet you.

  16. The Tarot organisation I belong to (in the UK) states that I must adhere to a code of ethics. This says that I will not read to anyone under the age of 18 years and there are many others readers who stand by this as well. This is to ensure that the client is mature enough to be able to understand and act upon any advice given in the reading.
    However, there are also many readers to whom age is not a concern and will read for anyone. I’m not saying this is right or wrong – it’s is up to them.
