How long should a class wait for a teacher who is late before leaving?

I am enrolled in a class at a community college. The teacher is so far 15 minutes for a 1 hr class. Most of the students have decided to wait 30 minutes but I’d rather leave than waste time in case he doesn’t show up. Should I sit here and wait another 15 minutes?
It’s actually an online web class. What is bugging me is that the other students are starting to chat in the chat box and asking questions such as where I am from and I don’t want this to be a ‘bonding’ thing where I share all my personal info with these people. If I suddenly log out it will look rude because a few already say hi how are you to me and I acknowledged them but i am getting tired of feeling obligated to answer their questions and join in the chat. Should i just log out of the class while they continue waiting?

How do you change login settings on the computer?

I have windows vista and I want to change the settings so that my laptop logs off or locks when idle or when turned off. In other words, I want to be asked to enter a password to login. It does this randomly, but Id like it to ask me on a regular basis. Does anyone know how to do this?
